The following terms and conditions apply to all rental hire
contracts. A paper copy will be presented to the Hirer for signature on delivery
:-
RENTAL CONTRACT
|
General |
|
1. |
Amtec Associates Limited is
hereinafter referred to as the "Owner". |
|
2. |
The person(s) or
organisation entering into a a rental agreement with the Owner is
hereinafter referred to as the "Hirer". |
|
3. |
The "Rental
Contract" shall mean this document printed and signed by the Hirer. |
|
4. |
The equipment provided to
the Hirer under Rental Contract includes all hardware, cables, case(s)
and documentation, together with any software delivered to the Hirer
hereinafter referred to as the "Equipment". |
|
5. |
It shall be the Hirer's
responsibility to ensure that the equipment ordered is suitable for all
requirements. |
|
6. |
The Owner supplies equipment
maintained, checked and tested prior to despatch. The Owner shall not be
liable for equipment failure and/or consequential loss of any kind. |
|
Rental Contract |
|
7. |
The hire of Equipment for a
Rental Contract is subject to a minimum of one calendar day. |
|
8. |
Prior to accepting an order,
Amtec Associates Limited may, at their discretion, request references
and/or a faxed copy of the proposed Hirers insurance policy. |
|
9. |
Orders will be subject to
confirmation by company purchase order individual credit card payment
prior to equipment despatch. |
|
10. |
Given 48 hours notice of the
order requirement, we will arrange courier delivery of hire equipment by
4:30pm on the day before the contract commences. Otherwise,
delivery will be made before 10:00am on the day of contract commencement.
Collection will be made on the day of contract hire at time to be agreed. |

11. |
A signature from the Hirer will
be required on delivery. |
|
Loss or Damage |
|
12. |
Throughout the period of the
Rental Contract, Equipment on hire shall be covered against loss or
damage by the Hirer's insurance. |
|
13. |
The Hirer shall keep equipment
in condition as supplied. |
|
14. |
The Hirer shall compensate the
Owner for any loss or damage to the Equipment. Compensation shall be
paid to the Owner by the Hirer within 28 days of notification of loss or
damage to the Equipment. |

|
|

|
